Production & Loading

1. Raw Material Preparation: The clay is sourced from quarries and undergoes processing to remove impurities and achieve the desired consistency and plasticity.
2. Shaping: This can be done through extrusion or molding.
3. Drying: Once shaped, the tiles are dried to remove moisture and increase their strength.
4. Firing: The dried tiles are fired in kilns at high temperatures.
5. Glazing (Optional): Some Spanish clay roof tiles may undergo glazing to add color, texture, and extra protection.
6. Quality Control: After firing and glazing (if applicable), the roof tiles undergo quality control checks to ensure they meet the required standards. Any tiles with defects or imperfections are discarded.
7. Packaging and Transportation: The tiles are then packaged and prepared for transportation to the construction site. Proper packaging ensures the tiles are protected during transit and handling.
