Erqi Memorial Tower, Zhengzhou City

    "If you haven't reached the Erqi Tower, you've never been to Zhengzhou." This shows the status of the Erqi Memorial Tower in the hearts of Zhengzhou. The names of Erqi District, Erqi Road, Erqi Square, Erqi Business District, etc. seem to be silently telling the connection between the city and a period of history.

    The Zhengzhou Erqi Strike Memorial Tower covers an area of 352 square meters, with a building area of 1923 square meters. It is a reinforced concrete structure with two pentagonal parallel planes, and is a unique antique twin tower. The tower is 63 meters high and has a total of 14 floors (including the basement). The tower base is surrounded by a 3-story railing, which is reduced layer by layer. Each floor is equipped with white cement railings; The tower has 10 floors, with eaves and corners on each floor. The top is covered with green glazed tiles, and the exterior is painted with white dry clay stone. Each floor has square lattice windows with red paint on each side; On the top of the tower is a clock tower, with six large clocks with a diameter of 2.7 meters. On the top of the clock tower stands a 9 meter flag pole with a red pentagram on it; There is a basement at the bottom of the tower and an underground passage opens to the northwest.

    The significance of the Erqi Tower is to commemorate the shocking "二·七" tragedy both domestically and internationally.
