What is the difference between glazed tiles and ordinary tiles?

Glazed tiles of various colors, fired at higher temperatures, are called glazed tiles. Glazed tiles are traditional Chinese building pieces, usually painted with golden, emerald and blue glazes, because of their sturdy material, bright colors, and glazed tiles. The smooth surface has always been the pride of building materials. According to literature records, the word "glass" originated in ancient India, and with the spread of Buddhist culture, its initial representative color actually refers to blue. Among the gems in ancient China, there is a kind of glass that belongs to the Seven Treasures, except for blue, Glass also includes red, white, black, yellow, green, and blue.

Glazed tiles can be made of soft and hard materials such as Daqing, Qinger, Tugang, alkaline earth, purple sand, wood seam, waste saggar powder, porcelain powder and other materials. In addition, some mineral wastes such as coal gangue, fly ash and industrial by-products can also be used to reduce production costs and achieve satisfactory results.

The difference between glazed tile and ordinary tile:
Glazed tile is fired at around 850-1000 degrees Celsius, formed under high pressure, and fired at high temperature. It has high strength, light weight, good flatness, low water absorption, flexural strength, frost resistance, and acid resistance. , alkali resistance, non-fading and weather resistance and other obvious advantages, the price will be more expensive.

Ordinary tile is made of high pressure and excellent molded filtration, cement tile is made of cement and sand, after extrusion, drying and curing, if it is color tile, it can be repainted and fired without high temperature, The strength and durability are relatively poor, of course, the price is cheaper than the glazed tile.

Glazed tile is the main tile building material in ancient times. It was widely used for roofs in Tang Dynasty. From Ming Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, glazed tile was an indispensable building material for palaces, palaces, sacrificial buildings and ancient temple roofs, and became one of the characteristics of ancient architecture.
