Temple of Heaven Park in Beijing

There is a national 5A-level scenic spot in Dongcheng District, Beijing. It is the Temple of Heaven Park in Beijing where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped the emperor and prayed for the harvest. The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest is located on a circular staircase as a whole, with a height of about 38 meters from the outside.

Inside the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest, there is a dragon at the top center, and the rest are the regular colors of oil paintings.

After visiting the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest, go to the back and you will find the Hall of Huanggan. Huanggan Hall is an indispensable part of the entire sacrificial complex. When there is no sacrifice at ordinary times, the "God of the Emperor" and the gods of the emperors and ancestors are stored here. Its area is not very useful but very large.

The main buildings of the Temple of Heaven Park are all on a straight line. For tourists, after visiting the Huanggan Temple, they can walk directly to the south. The door to pass through is called the Prayer Gate. After walking out of the prayer gate, you will come to the Danbi Bridge. It is said to be a bridge, but it is actually a road connecting the Qigu altar and the Yuanqiu altar.

Beijing Temple of Heaven covers an area of 2.72 million square meters, which is larger than the Forbidden City.
