Beigu Building

Beigu Building is located in the center of Beigu Mountain in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province. It is a new landmark landscape building in the National Scenic Area and aims to enhance the beauty and cultural connotation of Beigu Mountain. The architectural design features are mainly manifested in three aspects: adapting measures to local conditions, expressing dignity, and structural innovation.

The original hilltop land was cramped. In the design, the platform was extended on the side of the hilltop facing the river, so that the Beigu Building dominates the river bank, adding momentum, while meeting the needs of the building, increasing the landscape level, and forming a front courtyard and a rear view. Reasonable layout of viewing.

Innovative Song Dynasty style pavilion, the building has 3 floors, but the bottom is double eaves. The top floor is single eaves and stretches north-south. The contours are rich and vary from all angles. The sub-level and the surrounding corridors are connected and connected, and the environment is pleasant and conducive to activities. The dark layer mainly solves structural problems and connects up and down in image. The area of the top floor is reduced and the pavilion is tall and straight. It uses side feet and rises, plus ridge decoration, paved work, door and window sashes, flat seats, etc. Beautiful charm and meaning.

Optimized the design for the traditional wooden structure, and the main wooden structures are constructed with tenon and tenon to ensure the integrity of the wooden structure. After the completion of Beigu Building, it became a landmark building along the river in Zhenjiang. At the same time, together with the multi-view building and the overall environment designed by Professor Du Shunbao of Southeast University, it constitutes a vivid picture of the river and river.
