In Buddhist temples, the great buddha's Hall is the main hall. The great buddha's Hall is the core building of the entire monastery, and it is also a place where monks intensively practice. The Buddha statue of our master Shakyamuni Buddha is enshrined in the the great buddha's Hall. Because Buddha Shakyamuni possessed the wisdom of full enlightenment, he was able to dominate the great world, so the disciples of the Buddha respected him as the “Daxiong”.
According to legend, four people were bragging when they met together, and the Buddha heard it when he passed by. The first person said, “I’m not afraid of the hot weather. When it’s hot in the dog days, I will pull a tree and pin it to my waist, so I can enjoy the cool”; You can drink from a well to quench your thirst"; the third person said, "You are not afraid to walk a long way, you can hold both ends with two hands, and you can take a short cut by pulling the road straight."; the fourth person said, "You don't need to walk Pull straight, I can turn the mountain around."
When they were bragging, the Tathagata became an old man and said: "You are both so energetic. You can only lift an old man." The four people refused to accept. After the old man was seated, the four people came to lift it. The old man sat there still, and they couldn't lift it up even after exerting a lot of energy. He hunched over and hunched all of them, sweating. From ancient times to the present, Tathagata has pressed them under the great buddha's Hall for tourists to worship.
