He Garden, located at No. 66 Xuningmen Street, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, also known as "Jixiao Mountain Villa", is a Chinese classical garden building originally built in the middle of the Qing Dynasty, known as "the first garden in the late Qing Dynasty" , With an area of more than 14,000 square meters and a building area of more than 7,000 square meters.
The whole Heyuan Garden is divided into four parts: East Garden, West Garden, Garden House Courtyard, and Stone Mountain House.
The main building of the East Garden is a four-sided hall, a ship hall, single-eave and Xieshan style, with a corridor, 15.65 meters wide and 9.50 meters deep. The hall is shaped like a boat, surrounded by pebbles and decoration Chinese tiles paving, and the pattern is wave-like, giving people the artistic conception of living in water.
The West Garden has a wide space, with a large pool in the center, and the halls and corridors are built around the pool. The north building of the pool is seven rows wide and the Chinese roofs are staggered. The three rooms of the middle building are slightly protruding, and the two on both sides are slightly constricted. The Chinese roof corners of the house are slightly tilted and shaped like butterflies, so it is commonly called "Butterfly Hall."
