Shanxi Li Family House

In Shanxi of China there is a village called Yanjing Village. There is a courtyard in the village that was built during the Qing Dynasty.

 The whole building is the Siheyuan courtyard and at the same time it absorbs the Hui-style architectural style .

The Chinese gate is a typical Gable roof with grey roof tiles. The timber was painted by colored drawing.

At both sides there are the stone carving in the wall.

The clay brick is the main material for the buildings. The high wall and the floor are made of bricks.

Complicate wood carving under the eaves represent the level of ancient Chinese architectural culture.
