Qinghui Chinese Garden

Qinghui Garden, located on Qinghui Road, Daliang Town, Shunde District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province, is a Lingnan garden building originally built in the Ming Dynasty. It covers an area of 22,000 square meters and is one of the four major gardens in Lingnan.

Qinghui Garden is exquisitely constructed, compact layout, high architectural art, light and flexible building form, elegant and simple, the garden space is distinguished from the primary and secondary, and the structure is clear. Using clear water, green trees, ancient walls, leaky windows, stone mountains, small bridges, curved corridors, etc. to interact with pavilions, it integrates ancient Chinese architecture, gardens, sculptures, poetry, and grey carvings.

The three major areas of Qinghui Garden are: the southeast corner area entered by the original main entrance, the old park in the middle, and the new park in the northwest. Although there are partitions between the areas, they are connected by verandas, corridors and all kinds of small doors and integrated into one.

Qinghui Garden adopts the method of deleting the complex and simplifying the ceramic decoration. In the area of more than 20,000 square meters, there are all blue bricks and Chinese gray roof tiles without a ceramic ridge decoration.
