——Yuyin Garden

The layout of the Yuyin Garden is very ingenious. The pavilions, halls, bridges, corridors, levees, mountains and rivers in the garden are all contained within 300 steps, which fully reflect the cultural characteristics of the unity of nature and man, and shows a view of the universe in which man and nature are in harmony.

Yuyin Garden is located on North Street, Southeastern Corner, Nancun Town, Panyu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China and about 17 kilometers away from Guangzhou. It was the private garden of Wu Bin, a member of the Qing Dynasty, with a history of more than 150 years. The garden occupies a total area of about 1598 square meters. It is famous for its small and exquisite and finely arranged artistic characteristics, which fully demonstrates the unique style of ancient garden architecture and superb gardening art.

Together with Qinghui Garden in Shunde, Desirable Garden in Dongguan, and Liang Garden in Foshan, Yuyin Garden is collectively known as the four famous gardens in Guangdong during the Qing Dynasty, and Yuyin Garden is the best-preserved classical garden among the four famous gardens and it is a typical Lingnan garden architecture. In 2001, it was included in the fifth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
