Ying Garden

Ying Garden is located on the left side of City God Temple (now the cinema site), South Street, Yixing City, and Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, China. Ying Garden is a small and exquisite classical garden building with Southern characteristics and the best preserved in the city so far. It was built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty.

The whole park is centered on the lotus pond, with pavilions, towers, halls and pavilions, covered bridges, famous trees and flowers, and all kinds of scenery are beautiful. It is not only the first recommendation of Yixing, but also comparable to Suzhou gardens. There is a water pavilion in the south of the pond, named "Bamboo Yinxuan", connected with a small bridge and flowing water, which is in harmony with the overall style.

The whole garden has a rigorous structure, reasonable layout, stacked mountains and water, and has unlimited charm. There are ponds, water pavilions, pavilions and pavilions in the park. There used to be a school here, and it once served as a refuge for the poor during the war. Although the garden is small, it has the characteristics of South Chinese Garden.
