The He Family Courtyard is located in Handan City, Hebei Province,China. This is a century-old manor named "Yu Yi Village". The manor is divided into two parts, the east courtyard and the west courtyard, separated by a north and south street in the middle. The entire manor building has a large scale and a unique architectural pattern. It can be called a famous manor in southern Hebei, from which you can appreciate the exquisiteness of traditional residential buildings.

The architecture of He Family Courtyard is a castle-like structure. The west courtyard of the manor is about 100 meters long and basically square. To the north is a six-meter high wall with no gate, only a small back door, which leads to the back garden. There is a main entrance on the east side facing the street, a high threshold, a wide door frame, and a stone on each side of the door. Across the street from the gate is a large screen wall, three meters high and six meters long, with decorative brick and mangosteen pattern, exquisite and wide. There is a doorway five meters north of the screen wall. Entering it is a courtyard, which is a masterpiece of wisdom of the working people.

Looking at the courtyard, it is magnificent, colorful and elegant. This exquisite architectural design can be described as unique, including various cultural connotations such as aesthetics, folklore, architecture, history.
