Merchant Wang’s Residence is one of the traditional Chinese residential buildings in Jiangsu Province. It is located in Yangzhou City, because the owner's surname is Wang. It is mainly residential, the garden is complementary, and the area is not large, so it is called Merchant Wang’s Residence.

The layout of the residence group is regular, with three horizontal roads in parallel, the main house extending in three directions, the front and rear central axes running through, and the left and right sides of the wing rooms are symmetrical, reflecting the Confucian doctrine of the Mean.
