Heshun Ancient Town

Heshun Ancient Town is located in the ancient town of Yunnan, a national cultural province, and the closed, traditional and stable environment of Heshun Ancient Town, it completely retains the characteristics of Chinese Ming and Qing culture and is known as the living fossil of ancient Chinese architecture. You can appreciate not only the charm of the Huizhou architectural white powder wall, grey roof tiles, but also the elements of Western architecture. Especially the door and window wood carvings of the old house, all kinds of sculptures are vivid. The special features of the house are the stone steps piled up by volcanic stones. When it encounters rain weather, it can play a good anti-slip effect.

It seem came to the Jiangnan water town when enter into the Heshun, a glimpse of the clear water around the village, the Republic of China's acting premier Li Genyuan has a poem which praise: "Heshun scene is better than small Suzhou and Hangzhou." Today's Heshun life is still quiet, still not contaminated with modern atmosphere. The traditional culture and architecture are still preserved in Heshun Ancient Town. The temples, arches and ancient towns of the Ming and Qing Dynasties are all over the ancient towns. The entire ancient town also maintains the architectural style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties unchanged, just like the legendary paradise.
