Tile Garden

In my eyes, tile is not just a building material. It represents a realm and represents my architectural view.

I think that I have never been designing a house, but building a world ,said by Wangshu.

If you know Wangshu ,you should be not stranger to his works ,Tile garden. The most striking of this work is the layered tile eaves , wavy tile roofing and the wall.

Of course, the "tile" material is not simply piled up. It re-aggregates on bricks and even slabs on different walls to form a peculiar whole.

The “tile” that has precipitated over the years gives itself a feeling of living. Perhaps this is the charm of traditional Chinese materials.
