The Gate of Chinese Traditional House

Chinese traditional houses have very long history. And there are many kinds of style houses in China. For an example, Siheyuan in Beijing, Hui Style and Gan Style houses in South China, and Suzhou Gardens. All of these houses form the variety of Chinese traditional buildings.

The gate, the entrance of Chinese house, also have lots of shapes. Some have very simple design, the roofs are gable roof, the roof tiles are installed by South China ways, that is, only use flat tiles as the main roof tiles. Some gates use the wooden structure, some use marble, while some use hollow metal material.
