Red Brick Art Museum

Red Brick Art Museum located in North-east Beijing, Hege Village. It is built in 2012 and be open to the public in May 2014. It is the landmark building there. Its area is about 20,000 square meters, including 8000 square meter outdoor gardens.

This Museum is gardens style art museum with modern landscape courtyard. It uses red bricks as the basic building element, grey bricks for some parts of buildings. There are many traditional Chinese style building elements in this museum, like moon gate, which is made of grey bricks and red bricks. Hollow walls are made of red bricks.
