One of Chinese Old Town - Furong Town

Furong Town, original name is Wang Village. It has 2000 years history. There are several falls among it, so it is called “The town hanging on the falls”. It is located in the west of Hunan Province. It is one of Four Famous Towns in the west of Human Province.

The scenery in Furong Town is very beautiful. There are green hills and waters around it, and the streets and lanes are crooked. The houses in the local are very special, they are made of wooden structure and grey Chinese roof tiles. These kind of houses are called “Diaojiaolou”. The houses are hanging by the columns, this design is for prevent from the humidity and ventilation.
