Zhujiajiao Town

Zhujiajiao Town, which belongs to Qingpu District of Shanghai, is located in the west of Shanghai and the south-central part of Qingpu District, close to Dianshan Lake Scenic Area. In the east, it is near to West Daying and the boundary from Huancheng. In the west, it is close to Dianshan Lake and across the lake from Daguanyuan Scenic Area. In the south, it is adjacent to Shenxiang Town (merged in 2001). In the north, it is bordered by Dianshanhu Town of Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province.

Zhujiajiao Town is rich in tourism resources. The Shanghai Water Sports Stadium on the shore of Dianshan Lake is an activity center with international modern water facilities. The Oriental Green Boat is a camp for off-campus youth activities in Shanghai; Shanghai Sun Island International Club and Shanghai International Golf and Country Club are for business and vacation. Leisure and entertainment as one of the entertainment and tourism bases; Guzhen District has developed and opened more than 20 attractions such as the School of Plantation and the Daqing Post Office.

The nice old street of ancient town is built along the riverside, and more than a thousand residential buildings are built along the river. Among them, the North Street, also known as the “First Line Street”, is the most complete Ming and Qing Dynasty clay roof tiles building in the suburbs of Shanghai.
